We do accept art from children 13 and under. To protect their privacy, we have to inform you that we do collect their names, address, and emails, if that information is provided by them or their parent. We encourage children 13 and under NOT to include their real first and last names, but rather initials. We do need an email address for our database to associate the artist with their art; however, children 13 and under are requested to use their parents' email address. We DO NOT USE the names or addresses of the children 13 and under for any purpose, and DO NOT provide it to anyone for any reason. We use the email addresses to inform the artists about upcoming art events, to respond regarding their arr submissions, and to notify them if they win any of the art shows.
We also require parental consent for any artist registered that is 13 or younger. We obtain parental consent by requiring a parent's email address and then a confirmation from the parent tht their child artist may use the site. This process is followed to ensure safety to the child to the best of our ability.
If we change oru practices in a material way, we require the parent to again provide consent.
Parents may review all information retained about their child. Parents may also revoke consent and cancel the account at any time.
We verify the identity of the requesting person before we provide personal information to anyone.
